BUTTON DocsExtension v1.4.10
CHANGELOG

Better with every release.

Updates to the extension, wallet, and trading experience.

Updated 2 October 2026

1.4.10 · A new home for BUTTON

BUTTON moves to usebutton.app. Connected-wallet approvals open on this exact domain; update your extension before connecting.

Extension identity and local wallet encryption stay compatible. Replace the files in your existing extension folder and reload it to retain your local data.

1.4.9 · Meet BUTTON

A new name and a tactile new identity for trading from your timeline. This release updates the extension, downloads, documentation, and website to BUTTON.

Existing wallet encryption, extension identity, and trading controls stay compatible. Update the files in your existing extension folder, then reload the extension.

1.4.8 · Focused balance reads and transaction recovery

  • Trade panels request only the selected token, reducing connection load on both networks.
  • Opening a trade skips the full portfolio refresh. Background history work pauses while an order is prepared or sent.
  • Requests blocked before sending no longer appear as pending transactions.
  • Transaction results include Check status and Copy transaction ID. Connection errors stop the loading animation.
  • Robinhood public RPC requests share pacing and respect provider cooldowns.

1.4.7 · Solana network connection

  • Switched the default Solana RPC to Vibe Station. Existing default settings migrate automatically; custom RPC URLs stay unchanged.
  • Wallet reads and Pump.fun/PumpSwap requests share pacing for the public endpoint.
  • Old pending Solana transactions can be checked through the new mainnet connection without sending them again.
  • Quotes that expire during network checks stop before signing.

1.4.6 · Transaction delivery and confirmation

  • Interrupted submissions are checked by transaction ID before one retry of the same signed transaction.
  • Rejected token approvals stop promptly, before attempting the sale.
  • Confirmation checks continue after the trade window closes and cover all pending records.
  • A trade’s status updates without waiting for unrelated transactions. Confirmed results clear previous connection errors.

1.4.5 · Connection recovery and sale progress

  • The X trade panel fits the available screen height and keeps its action visible. Transaction results and errors scroll into view.
  • Drag the panel by its header. Review on X opens one BUTTON confirmation window directly.
  • Fixed the extension logo on X.
  • Solana connection errors explain provider access limits and offer a direct route to RPC settings.
  • Robinhood sales show token approval and swap submission as separate steps, with a link to the approval transaction.
  • Pending-order updates no longer wait on unrelated network requests.

1.4.4 · Copy the exact address reliably

  • Wallet address and token contract copy actions fall back to a user-initiated document copy when the modern clipboard API is unavailable.
  • Success appears only after copying completes.
  • If both copy paths fail, Deposit shows a clear error while keeping the full address visible for manual selection.

1.4.3 · Share the result, keep the private parts private

  • Create a 1200 × 675 PNG from a position whose recorded cost basis is complete.
  • Wallet addresses and SOL amounts stay hidden unless you explicitly include them.
  • Realized and unrealized PnL remain separate. Open-position unrealized values require a current market price.
  • Unknown cost basis never becomes an invented return. Cards are created locally and are not posted automatically.

1.4.2 · See what you own, sell the exact token

  • See an Owned balance beside exact contracts and remembered cashtags on X while your wallet is unlocked.
  • Open Sell directly from the post. The panel stays bound to that network and contract.
  • Frozen balances remain visible but are never treated as spendable. Multiple accounts are combined for the Owned total; a sale uses the largest spendable account.
  • The X page can request only the rendered token’s balance, not the wallet’s full token list. Short-lived reads are shared across repeated posts and cleared when wallet context changes.

1.4.1 · Keep the post, only when you choose

  • Optionally attach the source X post to a locally recorded trade.
  • The setting is off by default and stores only a canonical post URL, never tweet text or browsing history.
  • Open the source and transaction as separate links in Activity. Stored source URLs are included in Activity CSV exports.

1.4.0 · Keep a token in sight

  • Save a token from its trade panel and reopen it from the new Watchlist tab.
  • Exact contracts stay separate by network. Up to 100 saved tokens remain on this browser.
  • Saving is independent of quick-buy permissions. No order is placed.
  • Search the docs for wallet, trading, privacy, and troubleshooting topics.

1.3.1 · A clearer view of your trades

  • Search activity by token or transaction, filter by network and status, and export the visible records to CSV.
  • Filter open and closed positions. Export recorded fills for the selected wallet.
  • See realized returns for closed positions even when a live token price is unavailable.
  • Reopen a pending wallet approval. Expired requests now end with a clear way to review a fresh quote.
  • Connected-wallet sessions follow your auto-lock timer. Balance errors have a retry action.

1.3.0 · Wallets and positions

  • Connect Phantom, Solflare, or Backpack for Solana trades without importing keys.
  • Confirm each connected-wallet order in the selected wallet. Quick buy remains available for the built-in wallet.
  • Track recorded Solana positions with average cost, realized and unrealized PnL, and returns in SOL.
  • See market cap or FDV, liquidity, 24-hour volume, and route price impact when available.
  • New chrome cashtag identity, documentation, and wallet connection page.

PnL uses confirmed receipts recorded by this installation. Unknown cost basis is shown explicitly. Connected wallets and PnL currently support Solana; the built-in wallet continues to support Robinhood Chain.

1.2.0 · Order handling

Stable order tracking, updated token detection on recycled X posts, exact-input Pump routes, quote expiry and replay checks, deposit QR codes, and improved installation downloads.

1.1.0 · Two networks

Robinhood Chain mainnet support, amount-limited token approvals, EVM wallet derivation, and separate network allowances.
